About Us
PA CareerLink® of Lancaster County was formed in 2000 when 14 employment, social service and educational organizations agreed to work together as one entity at its current Liberty Place location. The PA CareerLink® ties together hundreds of County residents who come to the PA CareerLink® weekly to search for jobs, upgrade their skills, look for new careers and find Lancaster County businesses that want to hire them. The PA CareerLink® is much more than a job-finding service. Listed below are the many opportunities we offer to our clients.

- A variety of Career Readiness Workshops, including, but not limited to: Resume Workshop, Ace the Interview, Digital Literacy, Applications, Cover Letters and Thank-you Notes, Resume Critique, Developing Essential Skills, etc.

- Traditional Career Navigation
- This also includes utilizing WIOA funding for training and the opportunity to work with a personal recruiter
- Young Adult Programming- Career Readiness and Leadership development programming designed to serve individuals between the ages of 16-24 needing a high school equivalency and/or facing multiple barriers
- Re-Entry Services- A department dedicated to serving individuals who self-identify as having a criminal background and it being a barrier for them in finding employment. The Re-Entry Services department serves clients through two program paths: the Re-Entry Employment Program (our flagship program) and the Day Report Center Program, a court mandated program designed to be an alternative to incarceration at the County level for non-violent parole violators.
- Ready2Work Certificate and process- A micro credential which includes soft skills training and the nationally recognized Work Keys® assessment.
- Career Connections Program and Job Search Center- a program introducing participants to an effective job searching model that energizes their efforts. This includes staff assistance, resources, and networking opportunities.
- EARN Programming- The Lancaster Employment, Advancement and Retention Network (EARN) Program began in July 2011 and services the Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) recipients of the county.
