Adult Programs

Since 1979, EDSI has offered a comprehensive suite of services tailored to empower adult participants across the country. We have operated Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA), Business Services, Temporary Assistance to Needy Families (TANF), government contracts and special grants in more than 100 programs throughout the U.S. In all our programs in the communities we serve, we are proud to partner with workforce boards, community-based organizations, economic development entities, chambers of commerce, community colleges, industry groups and businesses.

As a leading national workforce development and consulting firm, EDSI is dedicated to serving clients on a national scale, with regional expertise garnered by engaging deeply within the communities where we are located. Whether it's work readiness, on-the-job training, pre-employment or job placement services, we offer relevant, customized services and programming to a large variety of customers.

We cater to adults who have transferrable skills from prior employment, or who may be work-ready but need additional skill development to match local employer needs. Our approach begins with a thorough assessment and career planning process, where we identify individual strengths and craft personalized career plans for each adult. We firmly believe in skill development and offer targeted training programs to bridge any gaps and enhance participants' employability in alignment with industry demands.

Our adult participants often have barriers such as transportation or childcare, so we collaborate with local community resources to provide housing, mental health services, and customized training for employers that are more willing to provide employment to justice-involved individuals. Our work with the justice-connected population has shown significant success in recent years as a result of our customized wraparound services for this harder-to-serve population.
